The party scene in Soweto has changed for the better. Like before going out in Soweto meant you would bump into semi old men with big bellies dressed in shirts, jeans and formal shoes hitting on young girls. Or it would be these ghetto ass girls who would open up circles and dance screaming "ahhyaai" with gold teeth.
Now its more "civilised" and chances of bumping into those men and those girls are slim, unless you go out to the specific places where they still hang out. The parties like Junkon Me, Authentic Sunday and Fun Masters changed the face of the parties in the hood. If we look closely at each one then you would see the point driven here. That people arent seeking to go far out for parties anymore when the hottest parties are actually in Soweto.
