The designer's sports apparel consists of footwear, and accessory pieces for tennis, weekends, running, yoga, studio, swim and cycling. And the range has a futuristic feel to it, with retro stripes, bold colours and in your face prints. McCartney has really catered for the women in all sporting codes and levels of fitness by keeping in mind that women's bodies are different and that there are certain areas that a woman doesn't like about her body. The colours and bold prints play a big role in the self esteem (confidence) of a woman, somewhat encouraging women to step out there and kick ass.

With that said Stella McCartney launched her "StellaSport" range in Cape Town early in the year. The range is brand new sports range aimed at a younger audience. The range combines sport and style sportswear with bold branding, explosive colours and fresh print, redefining sportswear with a brand new look for the age group.
